Wall of Stone: A non-magical wall of solid stone springs into existence to some extent you select within range. The wall is 6 inches thick. If the space is small enough, say, they failed the save on being trapped in their 5 ft square, is there a RAW reason suffocation would or wouldn't be a factor, or is it entirely the DM's discretion?

The spell Wall of Stone allows you to create stone walls and fortifications from thin air. At 60 hp per inch, the difficulty of getting out.I'm not sure why you'd want to trap something stupid enough to get under that stone and move the log - some sort of bait chained to the log, positioned well under the stone - but if you did - this might be your ticket!

In 5e, AC 15 and hp isn't quite easy to break down. Add that the wall is immune to psychic damage, poison damage, and effects that. They would suck more oxygen out of the air and could even produce noxious fumes that can build up when ventilation is cut off.

As per this Wall of Stone DnD 5E Spell the nonmagical wall of solid stone springs into existence at the point that you select within a range. It is possible, but difficult, to trap mobile opponents within or under a wall of stone, provided the wall is shaped so it can hold the creatures.

The wall can have any shape you desire, though it can't occupy the same space as a creature or object. The wall doesn't need to be vertical or rest on any firm. You are even able to crudely shape a wall for creating the crenellations, battlements, and so on.

One problem that I see with it is that one of Wall of Stone's vulnerabilities is a consistent source of damage over time.
