Harry Davis XML attributes. Look at this. Add a comment. The aspect ratio of the image is not maintained here. When we set adjustViewBounds to true we are telling the ImageView not the first and then disabling it to see how it affects the rendering of the images.

Ensure the asset will fit entirely inside the ImageView and no cropping will be applied. It does not keep the original asset aspect ratio. If you add the resizable modifier then the image will instead automatically be sized If you want to keep its aspect ratio you should add an aspectRatio modifier using either.

By adding adjustViewBounds and leaving the layoutwith as wrapcontent we are keeping the aspect ratio of the image while keeping the height.

Here we are centering the image without any scaling and because we are keeping the aspect ratio of the ImageView with adjustViewBounds the size of the ImageView not the image keeps the aspect ratio of the image.
